LCLD 1L Scholars Program

Linklaters is currently accepting applications from first-year law students interested in being 1L LCLD Scholars in our New York office during the summer of 2017.

About the LCLD 1L Scholars Program

Founded in 2009, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) is an organization of more than 200 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. Linklaters’ 1L LCLD Scholars are members of our U.S. summer associate class and participate fully in our 10-week summer associate program.

In addition, they are afforded the benefits of LCLD’s 1L Scholars Program, including:

1L Scholars Summit

Each class of Scholars is invited to this annual event, which includes panel discussions, distinguished speakers and networking opportunities for Scholars with LCLD members and each other.

Interview preparation

Scholars will have an opportunity to participate in a mock interview with attorneys from LCLD Member law firms.

Networking

There is a Linkedin group dedicated to articles and discussions relevant to Scholars.
All are invited to join.
